How it works

  1. 1

Drop a car or street photo

JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC. Faces are found and blurred automatically on your device.

  2. 2

    Hide the plates

Drag a box over each plate for free, or click Smart Detect to let AI find all plates, including small and angled ones.

  3. 3

    Download

Choose blur, pixelate, or black box and download a copy with GPS and camera metadata removed.

Why use this one

Finds small and angled plates

Smart Detect locates plates on parked cars, in traffic, and at an angle, then lets you review each box.

Location removed too

A car listing photo can reveal where you live through GPS metadata. The download strips it.

Faces handled for free

Drivers and passers-by are blurred automatically by the on-device face detector.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I blur my license plate when selling a car?

Many sellers do. A plate can be used to look up vehicle details or to clone plates. Blurring it costs buyers nothing; they can see it in person.

Is plate detection automatic?

With Smart Detect, yes. Without it, drag a box over each plate, which is free and takes a few seconds.

Is my photo uploaded?

Face blur and manual boxes run locally. Smart Detect sends a downscaled preview (max 1024px) to an AI provider when you click it; it is not stored.

Can a blurred plate be read again?

Strong blur and pixelation discard the original pixels. For the strongest protection, use the black box style.
